How It Works
Once you join, we'll provide shipping software, signage, and other things you'll need to start selling shipping labels and postage.
Your mail carrier will pick up your outgoing packages and mail for you.
What You Need
- A small amount of available space for a postage scale, label printer, and computer
- A safe place to keep customer packages until they're picked up
- A computer, label printer(s), scale, etc (we sell ready-to-go kits starting at $1k)
How You'll Make Money
USPS has several price lists for different kinds of customers. Retail prices are what customers pay when they mail something at the post office. However, you won't be paying retail prices for the postage you sell. You'll be paying deeply discounted prices and pocketing the difference.

You read that right, printing one shipping label can earn you over $40, and the customer doesn't pay a penny more than they would at a post office! It's a win-win!

How PostalPoint Makes Money
We take a 10% cut of the net revenue from each label, capped at $100/month. If you don't make money, we don't make money. Our highest monthly fee is still less than what you'd pay for other retail shipping software, which doesn't come with the other benefits you get with the PostalPoint Network.
Employee Training
Our easy to use shipping software is designed to reduce training requirements. It has prompts and icons to guide employees through the process of inputting package details, selecting a shipping option, and accepting payment. A built-in training library provides information and help with more complex scenarios, such as filling out a customs form or determining Media Mail eligibility, so employees can quickly learn on the job without assistance from a coworker or manager.

Point of Sale, Payments, and Cashflow
PostalPoint shipping software contains a full point-of-sale system for accepting payments via card, cash, or check, but you can use your own existing system as well and only use PostalPoint for mailing and shipping. PostalPoint uploads customer receipts to our cloud system, which calculates our fees and debits them from your bank account each month. You're only charged 10% of the net revenue from shipping services; we won't charge you for other sales like postage stamps or merchandise.
Use the PostalPoint software's reports tool to gain visibility into transactions, financial summaries, and more. It consolidates information from all your PostalPoint systems into one, so you can seamlessly grow with additional shipping lanes or a self-serve kiosk.
